Painting 6mm, 10mm and 15mm miniatures

Step 1

Choose a readable palette

Pick one main armor color, one dark recess color and one accent. Repeat these across the squad so the formation feels consistent.

Step 2

Try one test figure

Check the supplied miniature and complete any preparation recommended for its resin before priming. Test your chosen primer and paint system on one figure and follow the product instructions.

Step 3

Work from broad shapes to details

Establish armor, weapon and base colors first. At small scales, a clear light-dark separation is often more useful than painting every tiny panel.

Step 4

Use the preview to plan

Rotate the sculpt and try the painted or bronze concept to find raised edges and focal points. These digital finishes illustrate ideas; they are not photographs or a recipe for a guaranteed result.

Step 5

Repeat a manageable batch

Finish a small group before starting the whole pack. Keep notes on your colors and compare the models at the distance you normally view the table.
