Fit, basing and your rules

Will these miniatures fit your game?

Compare actual dimensions, base requirements and your group's model rules. A shared scale label alone does not establish a match.

Use the full sculpt dimensions

Infantry example

The 10mm Terran Guard, Frontline measures 12.49 × 13.89 × 13.80 mm. The 10mm name describes its range, not a total height of exactly 10 mm.

Tank example

The 10mm Vanguard Tank measures 40.64 × 16.26 × 14.22 mm. Compare its full footprint with the width of your roads, bridges and storage spaces.

Walker example

The 15mm Titan Goliath is 34.15 mm tall overall. Check vertical clearance in transport trays as well as room for its 31.65 × 30.66 mm footprint.

These are published digital measurements. Finished prints can vary slightly with printing and curing.

Check the base separately

The resin listings include an integral base. A sculpt's X and Y dimensions can include weapons or limbs extending beyond that base, so they are not a separate base-diameter specification.

Use a paper template of the frontage and depth required by your rules. If the base must fit a precise slot, movement tray or event standard, ask the shop for the relevant physical base measurement before buying. Do not infer it from the normalized viewer image.

Read the basing guide.

Keep model choice separate from rules approval

ForgewiseDesign is an independent miniature studio. Product names describe this catalog; they do not establish an official unit profile, publisher affiliation or event approval.

Check your chosen game's current rules and ask your group or event organizer about alternative miniatures, recognizable equipment, model counts and base requirements. Changing model scale does not automatically change movement distances or table size.

Before you order

  1. Write down your group's scale and required base dimensions.
  2. Measure a model you already use, including projecting parts.
  3. Compare the matching ForgewiseDesign product's dimension table.
  4. Check terrain and storage with a paper footprint template.
  5. Confirm any exact base fit or event requirement before committing to a larger force.
